Stabilizer link... Where to buy

Hi folks,
I need a stabilizer link (passenger side of the stabilizer bar) as I stupidly over-torqued it. I have temporarily fixed it by thinning the bushes to get enough thread, but want to buy a replacement. Are the syncro ones the same as the standard T3 ones? Is it the sort of thing a wreckers would sell?
Many thanks
Nick
Hi Nick, the syncro (2wd is different) links come in two flavours - early and late. The change came about because vw changed from a pressed steel lower to a cast iron arm. The cast iron arm incorporates the mount for the stabilizer, where as the steel arm uses the castor bar as a mount. Greg E

Thanks for the links! An expensive over-torque I fear... I have contacted a couple of people selling syncro bits on ebay just in case!
Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick, you might look @ tristar_connection  also. I just saw a part which could be the one you are looking for on page 3 of used spare parts. It is listed at Euro 25.- or offer.
Last May I have been at their place, quite impressive with over 50 Syncros/ TriStars in a row to be dismantled. Very sad sight.
