Steering Rack

Hi all,

I've got the "corrugation rattles" in the steering on my syncro.
Has anyone replaced/rebuilt a power rack ?
Parts and approx. cost ?
Just came back from a trip up north where we came within a bees dick of rolling. Steep sand dune with a side angle. Ran out of speed and nearly went over. I was so freaked out I forgot to take a photo.

No idea about the re-built steering but the second hand market has them for around $600 -$1000.00 depending on your luck.
 
Regarding your coming within a poofteenth of rolling - I understand the lack of photo - but any other photos of the trip are very welcome.

My local parts dealer will sell you a new RHD PS rack for US$600 plus
shipping. Sold one of these for about US$760 last time I ebayed one.

Shipping is about another US$100.

No exchange or core charge necessary. Sell your old one and recoup
some of the cost.

I think I paid about $500 for a refurbishment of mine last year.
