Subaru Conversions

Peter,

I have a card from a Brisbane company which does Subaru installations, don't know anything more about them.

Custom Street and Off Road Components, VW Specialists, 28 Hayward St, Stafford, 07 3356 4356.

I think they have Subaru conversion components, no idea of what or what prices.

I think this dates back several Day of the VW events in Victoria.

OK have pulled the engine apart. The no.3 piston connecting rod had
snapped.

COntacted Brookvale Wreckers Sydney(87888822) and they will supply a
front cut half 2.2l 98 SOHC Subaru Liberty for $1500.

In QLD a chap John Sherman (0755377770) has adapter kits on the shelf
for $660.
In Sydney Bill Croft (47774006) also offers conversion kits.

Also huge resources at subaruvanagon group here at Yahoo.

All to easy!

Regards to all and thanks for the advice.
Might make the shallow Xing trip yet!

I got the engine support bar for my diesel redone by them a few years ago and they did a really nice job on it. Much better than the what I had with my conversion kit.
