Lets do one!
Owners of syncro in Sydney and out of... who wants to do a day together.
We could even do an overnighter.
Maybe Queens long weekend or even the Nationals week.
Impressions of interest please. If there is some, I will organize.

My book titled 4wd adventures close to Sydney has a perfect trek called "Trek to Newnes".
This does a road nearby the glow-worm tunnel but I am sure if we do it over a couple of days we can fit the glow worm tunnel in.
The trek starts @ the Zig-zag railway just off the "Bells-line of Road" in the Blue Mountains.
We then drive along Newnes Forest Road and take a little side track to "the Lost City" near the Bungleboori Picnic/ Camping Area. We could then drive up to the Glow Worm Tunnel along the aptly named Glow-worm Tunnel Road - then back track to Galah Mountain Trail to see "Galah" - whatever that is?
Then we can back track down to either the "Deep-Pass Trail" or back to the camping area previously noted.
The next day we could do the "Blackfellows Hand Trail" to "Blackfellows Hand Rock" and then down Wolgan Road to either Lidsdale where we can get fuel or go north to Newnes Historic Town along the Wolgan Gap Road.
Its an easy trek with a few side adventure tracks we can go on if keen and depending on the weather. There is toilet facilities @ Bungleboori Camping Area but there are other camping spots recommended in the book without facilities.
Let me know if this suits everyone interested?
Cheers,
Skot

Michael, Excellent - the trek is suitable for soft-roaders or syncros on road tyres with no diff-locks so unless it rains cats and dogs we should be right. We can make the decision where to camp depending on what we find at the various camp sites and it will be a democracy for the location. Should be fantastic if the weather behaves!
