syncro double cab travels around the world for charity

Hi all,

End Februari 2008 two Dutch guys from the Dutch/Belgian yahoo syncrolist (homepage www.syncronautslowlands.com ) will start a 40.500 kilometers trip in a syncro double cab.

The aim is to attract attention for charity on their trip that will take them from Holland to South Africa , from Chili to Canada and back to Europe .

End this month a special website dedicated on their expedition will be online.

www.whereisthebus.nl  will be looking for sponsors for their charity projects.

End this month you will find more info on the whereistebus website and on www.busman.be .

Any help from the worldwide syncro community, being sponsorwise, mechanical help or even joining them on parts of their trip is very welcome !!

The name of their site will be www.whereistebus.nl

It will be in three languages and will keep you updated on their (and your ???) adventures.

Feel free to put links to their site on your syncro or 4wd related website.

Hi Mike

great to hear of the initiative!

Firstly, you mention it is for charity - can you please expand on this a little?

Secondly, we are a web dev company and have developed a very cool system called Siteflex. It permits (for example) multiple image uploads through a http connection and auto reduces / thumbnails for flash image galleries. Demonstration videos I have specially linked below.

We could consider sponsorship for the trip based on design and use of Siteflex. I note that Australia is missing from your list, so this may bring Australia back in the equation, if only virtually!

Kind Regards
Mark.
PS - I will be in Germany at end of Feb / early March - will there be a launch party?

Hii mark,

I’m getting details coming weekend. They have two charity projects :

The first one is to support the Dutch Cancer Liga, they fight cancer, help to prevent and help to improve the quality of life for people who get cancer.

The second one is an organisation that supports entrepreneurship in developing countries.

I’m still kind in the brainstorming phase to see how to make their trip a succes. Your launch party idea sounds like fun !!

I will pass them your proposal regarding Siteflex !

Maybe if we can raise enough funds and other help, they could go through Oz as well J !!!!

Mike.
