SYNCRO FOR SALE

I am reluctantly putting my 1989 Syncro up for sale. My future here in Australia is not looking so certain. Work keeps taking me away and I just don't have the time to enjoy or justify the upkeep of this van that I have fallen for!

Only two previous owners this is not a Telstra, Lifted on Koni adjustable shocks, 15” Mercedes wheels, large Trakka awning, seats five with belts, rear seat folds down into double bed, 50L water bladder under rear seat & 30L bladder in on top of skid pan/spare wheel carrier, dual batteries, and heaps of character.

Work carried out in past 12 months
De-coupler fitted (now able to switch between 2WD and 4WD
New muffler and entire exhaust system repaired.
New gear selector.
Reconditioned alternator
Reconditioned power steering pump
New coolant expansion & reservoir tank, coolant change
New airflow meter, thermostat, oxygen sensor

I'll try to get some photo's posted up here soon.

I have listed her on eBay on a short auction to try my luck before going away for two months work on Monday 27th July. It will be re-listed and sold when I return if no luck. $14000 is the asking price. The VW specialist that has done all the work on her is seriously thinking about upgrading from his bay window that he runs as a off-roader.
With the work i've had done in the last year he thinks this a reasonable price. Now he just has to convince his Mrs!
