Hi Kev, I have used Elite Euro in Wangara and still do. Joe Smith the owner used to own Golfwagen but changed the name some years ago. They don’t specialise in Syncro but they are a good VW specialist. I found Joe when I had my first Syncro 1989 and I still go there with my current 1989 with a diff lock. Cheers, Harold

Apologies for not replying sooner, for some reason I have only just noticed your response. I did contact other workshops, some didn’t even reply, others said “they were over syncro’s” What I don’t understand is my problem isn’t a 4x4 issue, it’s quite a common T3 running issue???

just my 2 cents - I defo do not recommend Mosman Park Autocare, I’ve been there and personally I think the dude running it is an A****.
I would, however, highly recommend VDub Repairs & Spares on South Terrace in Fremantle, as Kurt and his boys there are very experienced and lovely people to deal with as well.
