Syncro spotting

A few doors down from my work is a freight company, noticed a T3 there this afternoon, so had a closer look. It was a Syncro, red van converted to a high top, factory diesel. Still had UK plates on it, not sure if some one importing, or a UK owner on holidays??

Looked quite nice, had a lot of extras besides the high top, middle (rear) windows fitted, lowered suspension, 15"rims, spare wheel carrier, water tank etc.

No pictures sorry, never saw anyone there to ask more details.

Anyone aware of it?

Richard

A little off track, but what was the name of the freight company?

Thinking of sending mine to the UK and doing a 6 month - year road trip around europe for long service. Been starting to look into the logistics of it.

Hi Nils, took my tristar and Paul Nevin took syncro to Hamburg in a 40 footer,
That was in 2015. We went to Berlin for the 30 years Syncro (750 Syncros there) as well to Malvern UK with plus minus 7500 Kombis there.
A good address would be Mike Plomben as he made it his bus to ship syncros around the globe and he works on the docks at Brussels all the time.
For me it was important to ship with a reliable co, we chose Henning Harders P/L. Should you want to get in touch with them your first contact would be Christian Harders.

These guy's are next door, and have seen them ship Porsche cup cars around

Keep in mind I know nothing about either, but both have been there long term and do ship cars about.

Richard

The Syncro belongs to Dan from U.K.
He was travelling around the country, but not sure what he is up to now. Thought he gonna stay here for longer.

Will shoot him a mail see what's on next.
