Happy new year to all. I hope 2013 is a good year for you.
Any suggestions as to where I could purchase an ignition switch for my '89 synchro would be greatly appreciated.

Any VW dealer, VW parts sellers or VW workshops should have them. Buy 2 and keep one in the glove box like everyone should.

When mine fried out the back blocks of NSW I got a new one from Just Kampers. The auto electrician made a button start temp fix which I have kept and can easily set up if it happens again. But I have done the recommended changes to the headlight system as a preventative measure. Cheers Peter from Port
