T3 bent push rod

So I have a 91 Syncro with bent push rods, 2.1L.
One on both sides... I think the lifters have pumped up with no where to go. So tossing up between a rebuild of existing, though the motor has sat for a while or swap/exchange for a rebuilt. Any ideas comments and rough pricing.
Hi ......xxx
Bend pushrods ? Have the engine apart ? Bend pushrods is normally a secondary event. The primary  being a seized piston , or water on a piston, a disintegrated spark plug, or something similar . To my understanding a bend rod comes never alone. So there might be more to it. I guess a bit more detail and someone could help you here...

Rupert,

It is a general rule on this group to add your name to each post – plus common courtesy in any event.  This is a mutual technical support resource group, not an anonymous general blog.

John,

Oh dear, even I got that wrong!

The problem is that usernames rarely bear any hint of who the person actually is.

This is what comes up on your post email header: “on behalf of; t3syncro91 [jpcjac@hotmail.com]”

I am further handicapped by always having a flock of applications sitting in my Inbox from people whose username and actual name are quite different.  I have to play email ping pong trying to relate them!

Hi,

I had a bent push rod once caused by driving over a piece of wood at speed on a dirt road, the wood was thrown up under the car bashing against the pushrod tube, which is under the engine.  This resulted in a lot of tappet noise.
