T3 syncro with both lockers compared to T4, T5 & T6 versions

This is interesting - watch to the end as the 4 motion vans really struggle with both front wheels loose and one rear wheel loose.

The T3 gets through everything yet needs the front locker to get through in some cases.

The T4 syncro must have an LSD as it gets through most things pretty easy…

See below:

Would be also interesting to see how the Syncro would go with Peloquin diffs front and rear and, of course a rear diff in that clip. So far in all my off road 4WD stuff I have yet to be stopped, but then perhaps it may be that I’ve been lucky, or just good judgement in negotiating the terrain. I avoid only one thing off road: big stretches of KING SIZE corrugations! My ageing sinewy tendons have trouble keeping my skeleton intact.

Yeah my syncro has never let me down going up and down some seriously steep and rough terrain.

The rear diff lock gives me peace of mind but a peloquin front locker would be good.

I have watched this a number of times, I still thought the systems would have performed better (particularly T5/T6). But I guess they are tunes for slippery roads, not off road.
