Tour 07

Tour 07 has come and gone, an outstanding success, many thanks to Rick
and Peter. The header pic has been changed to commemorate the event.

I have changed the home page to show another pic from Tour 07, this
one from Brian Reed. Thanks Brian. Now we need to know who it was
and where.

Les
Kens water bag is a giveaway. Not to mention the "Hey I reckon I can
do a wheel stand in this rig" attitude!
It was a deep trench with very steep entry & exit angles. To make
matters even harder the trench was also sloping sideways with a deep
rut on one side.
It was coming out of the old gold mine on day 2. I think Rudi
actually
got the most air, but I was last & missed all the action.
When I finally came through & everyone was lined up watching
expecting a show, I crawled through like a snail and
everyone sighed :-(

Hi Peter - the facts you describe are 100%. Reviewing some photos, it
is certainly a close call between Ken and Rudi for "air" - we also
have a great reverse shot of Rick.

As mentioned on the day, your approach and exit may have been the most
graceful!

Regards,
Mark.

Gday Fully Sync 2007 Tour ppl and all, nice pic of my 2WD syncro on the
front page ... thank you. Yes guys, remember, that's the crippled Syncro
that beat the pants off most of you lot for the whole week with your
fancy difflocks, solid shafts and working VC's! I'm a tad peeved though,
for my efforts, I thought at least an Australia Day award was earnt ....

Great tour, nice people, learnt a lot, was all too short, many thanks
especially to Ric and Peter for their leadership and enthusiasm. So I'm
looking forward to the next one when I'll get to shame the lot of you up
and down the slopes yet again ... haha

Cheers all.

Ken
