Trakka Hot Water System

For any Trakka owners out there with the hot water system, I have had some issues with corrosion in the hot water tank. Not Syncro specific so posted to the Kombi Club forum for other Trakka owners.


Probably worth a read as you run the risk of drinking engine coolant if the system is in a similar state to mine.

Hi Jon,

what about a leak test ? As the heat exchange pipes do show to the exterior of the tank, just do a leakdown test . 

In the meantime just use the water from the cold water tank.
