Trakka Side Windows

Has anyone had a problem with the fit of the Trakka side windows?  Mine have sunk at the top corners on one side, with the result that water has been able to run in and collect on the lower sill, which has resulted in two rust spots.

Les,
I have a van here with Tracker windows with the same problem, the original VW sliders fit much better and don't have that problem.

They're probably the Kingsley black sliding windows. They couldn't get the curve in the extrusion correct. The rubber looks sucked in at the corners.

Any photos of how the screens attach?

VW Westfalia windows accept screens. Here's an interior shot:

Aftermarket screens are available for short (regular van) and long (Westfalia windows) such as this:

There are also a few vendor selling magnetic edged screens for any window including the front door ones:

Gday ALL,

re: ................. "Trakka windows can have fly screens attached".

Bit unclear this statement as "fly screens attached" infers flyscreen
sheeting fastened using rubber spline to made-up extruded screen frames,
attached to the window frames. Not so.

Included on the inside edge of the trakka window extrusion is a
designated groove to fit a small diameter rubber spline to hold
flyscreen mesh securely. I have this setup on both trakka windows.

Also, inspection of my trakka window frames shows no sagging nor any
other apparent problem, touch wood.

Cheers.

Ken
