Transporter Recall 20F3

I have noticed that some of the syncros around have not had the fuel injector recall done. There should be a sticker on the driver's door pillar to say that it has been done. Also there should be grey tubing over the four fuel lines to the injectors. This is a safety recall that has to be provided by Volkswagen free of charge and includes new injectors.

Checking out the listed recall notices, they each have the status
of "inactive". Doesn't sound too positive. I've emailed a question to
the Dept. of Transport querying what exactly does that infer.

I noticed that under Transporter Syncro there is a recall for repairs
to the steering column, but it has a status of "closed". I guess
that's pretty self explanatory.
