Valla 2012. Rover trail.

Good morning. Valla 2012 has just finished. The rover trail was a great success. 9 SYNCROS participated and 1 awsome rear diff locked Bay window 2wd. I've posted a photo of the assembly point at bruxner park where we had a cuppa and got to meet new friends or put faces to the names we chat to on the forum. I WAS so busy on the trail concentrating i didn't take any photos but there were lots a cameras so i'm sure action shots will be posted as people arrive home over the next week. The roll up was as follows.
Bill and Marg(Nambucca)
Hart(Port macquarie)
Roger(melb)
Rowan and Genie(Northern NSW)
Bruce(ROCKY)
philip (Byron)
Theo and Christine(Melb)
David(coffs)
Neil and Jacko(bay 2wd)

Honorary passengers whose syncros at home or in the workshop.
Scott(central coast)
Jurgen and Hammus (Father and son from Germany whose syncro shipped from germany is in Steve Muller workshop with motor problems)

The trail was not a disappointment. The look on the german guys faces after some of the steep climbs was priceless as they had no idea what a their vehicle is capable of. I'll leave it to others to post their experiences but for me it was the most fun i've had for a long time. The smile on everyone's faces after each difficult section made it all worth while. Bill
Sorry. Also Paul from newcastle in his awsome duol diff locker Bill

Thanks very much to you Bill for organising the Rover Trail. Really enjoyed the day and made the weekend even better. Great to catch up with ones I had met before, to meet new people and also meet their Syncros.

Left the Pacific Hwy at Coffs and had a nice run up the back way to Toowoomba and on to Brisbane where i am now.

Great weekend and thanks again and also to Jacko for the guiding.

Bruce CQ

PS Diff lock envy is alive and well............
Thanks again Bill and Marg for a great day on the Rover Trail.  I had the best day!  I hope it is the start of many more such trips and adventures.  It was great to meet  people from the forum face to face and as always to catch up with old friends.
Neil.
