Valla Names

Thanks to Sam, I now have four of the five owners in the lead picture
(taken by Brian Reed), but who owns the Double Cab?

Les
Les,

I presume you didn't get my pmail of 18/9/06, so I've copied it below and sent it to the list. I have your email as leslieharris(at)optushome.com.au. Could you pmail me if this is wrong.

Hi Les,

I didn't get names from all the syncro attendees, but the main encampment consisted of 1. Rick King, from Sydney (with his son Jay), 2. Rudi Purkhart from Bribie Island (yes the infamous Bribie Island syncro collector; a genuine enthusiast actually), 3 Sam Arnold from Sydney (new to syncros, but young and enthusiastic), 4 Phil Landers and wife (who actually stayed in Nambucca, not being in a camper). The picture with 5 syncros starts with Bob Dale's double cab (a 'one-off' Australian factory Tri-star equivalent; you'd need to get the full story from him), then myself, Phil, Rudi and Rick. Sam had had to leave early. There was another guy (and family) from Gloucester, NSW. but I didn't write his name down, and now I've forgotten. They actually camped seperately as they were with other friends. There must have been one other as well, because the general consensus was there were eight altogether. The pic with three circled close is Rick, myself and Rudi (at rear).

Hope this helps,

Brian

PS; 2 emails I have that are not on the site list; Sam  me@samarnold.org  and Rudi  purkhart@australiaonline.net.au .  You may want to contact them and remind them of our invite to join the site, if they haven't already.
