Valla VW event

Is any-one from the Syncro community planning on going to this event.

I'm hoping to incorporate it in a holiday road-trip over the next few
weeks.

This is a great event, I have been about seven times previously
and will be going again this year.
I know of at least one other SYNCRO owner also going from Sydney,
and will look forward to seeing other fellow members there. The more
the merrier.

We had around six syncros there one year.

Rick & Phil, and any-one else going.

Everything is in place and I will be coming to the VW Spectacular.
Where do you stay (in your van I presume)? Can we organise a Syncro
group camping area?

Also, is there any point thinking about entering the Hillclimb event in
a van. I'm more used to my 968CS for this sort of thing, but I can't
bring both.

I've included my mobile no. below so we can be in touch closer to the
event.

I'll tentatively put up my hand for attending Valla, all things go to
plan.

Should I just call and book a space to park my van or are we going to
ask for a space to park a few vans??

Brian/Sam... and anyone else going to Valla
This is shaping up for a good Syncro get together,
If you are staying in your van (which my 8 year old and I always
do), its easy, just make a booking for a powered site. If we all
arrive at about the same time and check in together we can line up
the Syncros or the alternatively the first one there can reserve the
necessary amount of spots, so the Syncros are together.
I plan to leave Sydney Friday morning at 5am - ish, if any one
wants to join up and make a Syncro convoy are welcome, and return
Monday afternoon.

Hey All,

Just having a bit of a problem with booking a place to park my van.
I rang the caravan park and they told me to call 'Donna'. I've
emailed Donna and had no reply. Any assistance with this one
greatly appreciated!

I will be leaving Friday from Parramatta around 2pm, so it will be a
little late by the time I make it to Valla - save me a spot!

Sam,

Donna's phone numbers are on the VW Spectular website under accomodation (sorry, I'm already in Coffs Harbour, and don't have them with me). I booked through her, but you have to send a cheque, as she is not set up for credit cards.

I'll be there Thursday night. You can try my mobile (0407 319 521) when you are there to try and get together, but I'm not sure what reception will be like at Valla.

Hey Guys, Phill and Rick,

I just spoke to Donna and she has organised for atleast Brian and
myself to be parked together - hope I don't wake you up arriving late
friday night!

Phill, Rick and anyone else going - it might be worth calling Donna
and ask if you could be parked next to Sam and Brian. When I was
talking to her she had somebody called 'Dean' parked next to Brian? I
told her Phill and Rick are coming also but she couldn't find your
names and said unless people get in contact with her there may be
diappointed people on the night.

Hi Sam/All,
Thanks I have just spoken with Donna (0900hrs on the 2/8/06) and we
will be all together so if anyone else is going give Donna a call
straight away. She has a count of qty 4 Syncro line up so far, Donna
advised if any other Syncros are just turning up she will not be
able to get the additional Syncros together unless they phone
now !!!!

I'll be staying at "Beilby's Beach House" which is in Nambucca. Will probably park with the rest of the syncros during the day.
