You can substitute hoses for the hardlines. They will also be much easier to install. Most hydraulic hose shops
should be able to fabricate these for you. One side is low pressure so much easier to get. Most auto parts stores
should have that.
 
In addition to the above items, you will need a slightly different steering shaft. That is the piece that goes from.
The one from the PS system is slightly shorter and has a different coupling. in a pinch, you can get your old one
cut and rewelded to fit. I found it much less expensive to buy the used parts. If you use the hardlines, you will also
need the hoses that go fromt eh hardlines to the pump and reservoir. Speaking of which, you will need the reservoir
as well.
 
Of course, I am in an area where parts for t3's are more plentiful (California). I am not familiar with auto parts stores
or supply systems in OZ. I can help you get most of these parts in the US if you have trouble finding them locally.
there. the only part I can no longer get here are RHD powersteering racks. my parts dealer only had a few that were
mistakenly sent here. remember, we drive mostly LHD cars.=)
 
I've done this converrsion twice with more than satisfactory results even w/o adding the relays to adjust idle when the
pump engages.
