Victorian get together BBQ, Labor day weekend.

Hi All,

I'd like to propose a Syncro get together BBQ for the 10th of March
and for those feeling adventurous a drive in the hills ( weather +
conditions permiting )
Where; Yarra Junction, BBQ at my place, my house backs onto a large
area of council reserve with vehicle access, plenty of parking area.
State forest 4WD tracks only 10 minutes away.

Hi Les,

I think an early start for those interested in a drive, 8:30? I know a
few tracks close by that are of moderate difficulty ( as long as it
doesn't rain) so a couple of hours would be ample to get a drive in
before lunch.
Perhaps some would like to stay in the area Sunday night?, I think it
would be possible for a small group to camp directly behind my house
or alternatively there are a few caravan/ camp grounds in the area,

Hey there Steve and all,
 
Sounds like a nice idea there but sorry I cant make it as going away on an annual camping event to the Ninety mile beach with a bunch of friends.
Would sure like to make it if it happens to be re-scheduled to another time.

Hi Steve,

 

Like Andy, I’ve got something else on that weekend (Port Fairy Folk Festival), but I like the idea. Maybe another time.

I’ve been working up your way (at Woori Yallock) the last few weeks, and spent a bit of time at the Doon Caravan Park . Interesting place, quite ‘retro’, but I like the relaxed and uncluttered feel of it. Maybe we could have an overnighter there some time.
