Video Rover Trail 1st part.

First part of Rover Trail from the cabin of the goodship Tristar piloted by Captain Hart.

I took this and subsequent videos in HD but conversion to drop box has considerably reduced the quality.I'll put them all up and if no one has any objections will then try to put them on U Tube to claw back some of the definition.  If someone wants it in HD let me know with their postal address and I will transfer it to a SD card.

Enjoy

 Love it - thanks Roger.

Hart is a very brave man taking the one and only Aussie Tristar and his pride and joy up that goat track just after a fresh donk rebuild.

Great fun!

Cheers,

Skot

Ta for the flowers Skot, yours is just as beautiful. Mine has many more blemishes and the donk was rebuilt only just enough to see me through or until RMS keeps my license . Got mine 1954,
still got the original (German) one and guess what, it's still valid, there never was or is an expiry date on it.
Are you part of interested Syncro drivers wanting to repeat the Cape York trip ? If so, please contact Neill or Heidi to find out more about it. I have to push cos see above.....

Hi All,

I am interested in the Cape trip are there any dates or details

PK

Peter Kolevas

Gold Coast
Hart,

I am keen as a jelly bean but until I do an EJ25 engine swap I wont chance it.

Basically as if something goes wrong with my current engine - I'm gone there are no available spares.

The engine currently goes great with ample power but also has a significant fuel economy issue which would be another reason to need to change it before going Cape York bush.

So if it happens after I change the motor then yes otherwise unfortunately I'm out.

Cheers,

Skot

Skot. I agree it would be too great a risk to take the best syncro in australia to cape york with that rare 6 cylinder subi motor and no spares backup. May i suggest you purchase a backup syncro for the trip. Happen to know where you can get one. Volunteer navigator included. Bill

Tempting Bill.

I will go and put the lottery numbers in tomorrow.

Cheers,

Skot
