VW Recall

pretty interesting.
something about asphalt actually in some cars , or car parts ? ....strange.

that ad for Care Credit at the top of the Drive page..I highly recommend them ..
zero percent deferred interest for , for me so far anyway ....., either 6 months or 18 months ..
just be sure to pay it off before the time period ends ..as long as you do,  it's an interst free loan.
Pretty nice.

Not Syncro related but some of us have other models and might find this article interesting Regards Pete

I'd better check if my Magotan has been recalled.

Hi Pete,
Thanks a lot for this link. Recently we were working our way through various makes and models of cars to replace two old cars in this family. Research at the time indicated DSG equipped cars in Oz were having problems, with VW Australia stance being head in the sand. (so what's changed I hear you cry!)

Erring on the side of caution, happily even more so now we chose to avoid anything with DSG!

Cheers.
Ken

I'm happy with my wife's 270,000 km 6sp dsg equipped golf. No probs so far & no service been performed on the tranny. My new t5 7 speed is good at 5000 km & hopefully is as reliable as the golf. No complaints from me, wish I could work out how to hook up a dsg in the syncro. Eddie
