Water tank and or

I am interested too

Sent from my WalkingStick!
If you look on about the 3rd or 4th page of photo albums for the group there is an album entitled "Long Range Tanks" posted by M Mullett. The images there are actually my fitting instructions and should give you a good idea of the different tanks and how they are mounted. They are manufactured in 304 stainless and are suitable for water or fuel. They are well constructed and internally reinforced and baffled. They come in 46 and 58 litre capacity and neither have a negative impact on ground clearance.

On my vehicle I have a tap mounted on the back bumper and we use that all the time. Camping, washing off sand at the beach, picnics, cleaning hands on the side of the road(!) etc. We have also just returned from a trip to Lesotho where fuel sources are a bit unreliable and it was great not to have to worry about jerry cans. Also we were travelling in convoy with other vehicles and it was great for a change to not have a shorter range than them.

Postage from SA is obviously an issue but if we can do a batch of around 10 tanks it will bring the costs down quite a bit. Tanks are roughly A$435 for the 46 litre and A$500 for the 58 litre tanks.

Let me know if you need any more info or want to see more pics.

Cheers
Ian

Ian,

Does that price include all the hoses and fittings, straps, the pump, a fuel gauge sender and everything you need apart from freight?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Skot

That price is for the tanks and straps. All the other parts you need are listed in the instructions and you can either source those yourself or order those from me. Either individual items are as a complete kit. I'll email prices to those that are interested.

I'm busy getting shipping quotes and will post back here on Monday.

I've made a new album entitled "Ian's Syncro and SA long range tanks"
You can find the info for the tanks there as well as a few pics of my Syncro. I've had my bus for about 10 years and have recently fitted a Mazda MX6 2.5L 24V V6 which I love!

Cheers
Ian
