so i live in france, and i'm a '92 t3 doka syncro 16" 1.6td owner.
my previous van was a t4 2.4d tdi converted to a 2.5tdi with
mecanical pump. so i sell it to buy a t4 syncro, but i see that the
t3 was better for off road trip, then i buy this doka 16".
i was happy to found a 16" with td engine.
td engine have very small power and torque, and the final ratio from
16" td can't provide speed over 110km/h in top speed.
that's why i decided to swap a tdi engine inside, and rebuit the
gearbox with taller final ratio and stronger 3rd & 4th gear set.
actualy my doka have 16"*8 amg wheels with 245/75r16 kumho tire, big
mirror, '79 golf gti steering wheel, fiber hardtop.
waiting to be fitted: a/c , lift kit, 2* rear wheel carrier with
external roll cage, snorkel , and custom made aloy hardtop.
