wheel nuts

Hi I am having trouble finding repalcement wheel nuts for my Trakka 15 inch alloy rims and wondering if anyone else has 5 spare or knows where to find them.

They are the same alloy rims as shown in the Trakka brochure in the photos section, any leads appreciated. Regards Greg
Good luck. I had to get mine made.

Greg, what shape are they? if tapered rather than the ball seat you can buy something similar from Just Kampers in the UK. Postage is reasonable.

Most of the Australian wheels are M12 ball seat as they were made for Mercedes. (The syncro has M14 thread)

Washers??????????
That's right Washers. If we are talking the same language then  the nuts that fit on the Wheels that were put on by trakka (ie 15inch) do need washers so that the nut does not over tighten on the stud and get sheared off.I am talking through experience. So heed the advice if you are referring to the same wheels.
Cheers,
Everard

No i do not have any just yet.The wheels are the CSA brand wheels which were fitted by Trakka on their VW Campers and on the Carat as well. They are 6x15 inch wheels. The PCD is the same as the 14 inch wheels. The wheels are a snug fit on the hubs and the wheel nuts fit right into the little slot left on the wheel bolt holes. This is where the "Washers" come into play. They prevent one from over tightening the nuts.If one were to use the Nuts without the washers then one can overtighten the nuts and what i experienced once was to overtighten the nut to find the nut come off in the wheel brace.
I'm sure you are aware of the CSA wheels so take a look at a Syncro which has them on and you will get an idea of what i am referring to.
Cheers,
Everard

My wheels are CSA but used a ball taper nut. I think that what you are referring to is a parallel shank nut. I did not know that they made them in the 90s. I had a T2 with them and kept breaking the nuts until I bought thinner washers. The stud was not engauging in the hex part of the nut.

Trakka used a few different types of mags and bought whatever was available at the time from Bob Jane at Brookvale. The ones that I have seen were ball tapers (though I have not seen many).
