Wheels and tyres revisited

Hi all,
Hoping for some committe wisdom here.
I am going to get a set of 16” Tiguan alloys for the Syncro.
What tyres will work/fit?
Any recommendations?

I have a set of 16" Tiguan wheels that I am running 215/70/16 Geolander AT's on. Obviously any 215/70 will work.

Only under extreme compression whilst turning do I get some minor guard rubbing on the front.

PS I have a set of 4 - 15" x 6.5" ET37 rims with 205/75/15 Firestone AT for sale $1200 (tyres are near new)

215/70 is the biggest you can go without mods. You can go 225/70 with rear spacers and longer studs and a castor adjustment up front. Greg
