Why we have syncros

Just been to one of the most beautiful places on the WA south coast. Pretty tricky. River crossings on the beach surrounded by quicksand. Sand dunes that require a running gearchange to 1st and 10 psi tires to climb. Not to mention the march flies and sandflies..
But the peace and serenity are worth it.
Mark

Love it.

Awesome photos Mark.

I know you have a lot of sensational unspoilt tracks around the WA coastline - youre spoilt for choice!.

Does 10psi mean the tyres can roll off the bead? It does make for better floating over the sand though.

A bit worrying by yourself.

Cheers,

Skot

That running gear change could be a bit hit and miss are you talking g gear think that's almost impossible

do you engage the front dif lock

Always thought a set of snow chains could come in handy on deep sand but have never seen them in action on  sand

How about the name or is that a secret.

Are you still thinking of the swivel seat I have here with your name on it

Have you reapplied the rustproofing

looking great

Great photos, but the insects ?
Peter

Yea, I'd be keeping that tailgate shut.
I hate those varmints with a vengeance.
In fact, I need to know where it is so I can avoid it.
Just saying.......

Hi Mark, like your photos of the secret camping spot. We reside in Myalup and Freo and are Syncro owners, but what really interested me is your awning , as I have asked heaps of people and know one really knows how to attach it. Would love to see your vehicle and have a chat.

Cheers

I have a similar awning and they fix easily using the Van Cafe awning brackets.

They dont bolt through the van in any place and can be removed completely with trace if required.

Works great for me but I havent used them off-road yet.

See photos

Sure give me a call 0417 174 816

Gday Pete,

1st gear not Granny.. That wouldn't work too well. Keep the van well washed no signs of rust although you'll be pleased to know I had the window rust cut out - good job.
10 psi is essential if you're going to get back up these dunes. I've read 8 psi is about the limit for pressure before you risk running a tyre off the rim.
Think I'll pass on the swivel seat. Just wouldn't get much use the way I use the van.
Til we meet again,

Mark
Hi Mark,

Is the swivel seat just the base or whole deal? I might be interested.
Mark it looks like your having fun....again.

Andy
I have a few swivel bases and could probably put my hands on a seat
the standard t3 seat fits the base and adjusts forward and back as normal
The swivel base has the standard rail pressed into it
250 plus post base only
I'm in SEQ
cheers peter

Hi Peter

If you still have another swivel base available, I would like to take one.

Cheers, Uwe
