Has anyone fitted a Hi Torque WOSP Starter motor from Mick Motors to there vans?

Only to a 2wd.

However, there is a quite a bit of adjustment available with the angles you can fit them to.

Apparently they even work with a diff lock. I would advise the vendor that you have a diff lock to enable better fitment.

I’ve got one in my 1960 bug. Spins up my 2110cc 8.5:1 comp engine no problem.

thanks Leon and Scott. the starter motor comes with an adapter so hopefully thats what I need for the diff lock too. fingers crossed its on its way. Arent too many options in Aust for starter motors these days.

Don’t throw any old starter motors out, they can be rebuilt!!
Hopefully anyone replacing theirs hangs onto the old ones.
