Hi,
If anyone has any leads for a complete aircon system, please let me know.
Picked up some SS water pipes today from Richard in Banyo. What a great resource this list is.
Cheers
Mark

The set I just bought was apparently the last from a group purchase here in OZ. They were made here I believe.
You can get them from just Kampers for about $430 plus shipping. I paid about the same.

Hi Mark, sorry for the slow reply, been a hectic week! Your welcome on the pipes. Yes, made here in Brisbane :)
Ryan, if there's enough interest happy to run another batch. Probably need to do ~10 sets to keep costs down. They came in at $460 a set last run.
If I do another batch I was going to look at adding a couple of drain points in the pipes to aid draining the cooling system without having to remove hoses etc. Even if you drain through the bungs in the water jackets (pain to get to on a Suncro!) it leaves a lot of coolant in the system.
I did some mucking around on my 2WD when I flushed the system late last year. The system holds roughly 17-18L. If you drain through the engine water jacket you get 10-11L out (lifting the nose of the bus). If you disconnect the heater return hose and the two long plastic pipes and bend them down to get more out, you remove 14-15L.
The theory would be to put an easily removable bung in the lowest point of the long pipes and one in the pipe between the thermostat and the water pump. This would drain most of the coolant out without needing to touch the water jacket bungs.
I have also found, provided you have a good system any debris in the system will get caught in the header tank, so easily removed and flushed out if you drain the system. I've not found any benefit (removing debris etc) draining through the water jacket on the engine. That's based on the few T3's I've worked on.
Anyway, long winded email, but if there was enough interest happy to look at a batch of 'mark 2' pipes.
As my 2WD still has the plastic pipes, I will look at doing them at some stage also.
