Now I get it. (I'm a bit slow)

2) a design contest: design a prototype of a new VW van inspired by the VW T3.

However, I don't have a problem with it.

Re: [Syncro_T3_Australia] 25 years Mammut Park Ken. Forgive me if I’m on the wrong track here, but did the “new beetle kill” off the classic beetle? I would have thought the opposite. It renewed interest in it and increased its popularity – and pushed up its value. And I wouldn’t have thought it reduced the availability of parts either. I suspect a “new T3” would make yours a classic overnight – you’d be able to sell the trakka and live comfortably on interest from your windfall for ever more  :-).

Murray,
Its for sale right now and yours. Given your poor credit rating, the $120,000 sale price needs to be a bank cheque ok.

Thanks Murray. Courier post is quicker.
Cheers.

Ken.

Cheers Murray

That's what the new Trakkas are selling for.

Are the new ones T5s (upgrade) or T6s?

Re: [Syncro_T3_Australia] 25 years Mammut Park I’d have to get an NRMA report first – not sure what they will say about the solid shaft business though... Not original you see!   :-)

That's what the new Trakkas are selling for.

Are the new ones T5s (upgrade) or T6s?

hahaha ...... if a VAG service centre mechanic scratches his head when he sees a T3, what would NRMA personel know?

Solid shaft? Now you had the chance but failed the confidence test on that one eh. I'll race you to the top of the sand dune ok.

I’d have to get an NRMA report first – not sure what they will say about the solid shaft business though... Not original you see!   :-)

Murray,

Thanks Murray. Courier post is quicker.
Cheers.

Ken.

Cheers Murray

Now I get it. (I'm a bit slow)

2) a design contest: design a prototype of a new VW van inspired by the VW T3.

However, I don't have a problem with it.

Heh we agree! No it didn't.

Few could afford to buy it.

Ken.
