Locking Diffs, Engineering Certificates, Insurance issues,and
Registration costs. I guess, I will be staying standard and rather use the money to finance our trip around Oz next year. But, I would like some decent tyres. By the way, I just paid my Rego. $614.00 How does this compare with other Victorians?

Yes, you can pay at the gate. The day officially starts at 0900. Brian and I will be there from 0800 on to get the Syncro side of it organized. If you will be late, that can’t be helped. We will keep a spot for you. Can you give an estimate of arrival time?

Hi Francesca,
Yes, you can just front up, and pay on entry. If you’re a bit later there shouldn’t be much of a queue. If you want to be in the judging you need to be there by 11am, but that is optional. In case parking is getting tight (pre-entries have been double last year; don’t know if that reflects more people coming, or just more pre-entering), mention to the gate people that you have a space reserved with the Syncro group. In any case, there is more space (overall) available this year, so you’ll be able to park some-where. We’re aiming to have the judging and presentations finished a bit earlier this year, and things are usually starting to wind down by about 3pm. Fortunately, Sunday’s forecast is looking a little cooler.

Those who have replied to my requests for attendees all have a booked spot, including you. Late nominees might not be able to park with the Syncros.
We might not have Mark Boys this year because he is having his gearbox rebuilt (and modified with Albins 4th gear) and it is unlikely to be finished in time.

If it is the same, we are to the left of the gate. Come through the gate and take the bitumen path immediately to the left and you will see Syncros on the left side.
I thought that I heard something about the gates this year but can’t find anything in the newsletters but Brian will know.

We are in the same spot, but the entry points have changed. Much of the ‘outside’ parking area is now fenced off and will be used by the club, and so the entry point is earlier down Grant St. Grant St will be blocked off, so you can’t go past it. From there you will go around the judging area (don’t queue up for judging. Syncro’s will be judged separately), in through the original gate, and turn left where you’ll find the Syncro’s running along the wall to the main ‘betting ring’ area. I hope to be able to post a site map before the weekend, but it hasn’t been finalized yet.
PS. I hope Mark B will still be there in his T5 twin cab 4Mo.

The site plan has just come through. I hope the attachment works on the forum. Non VW parking is just to the right, inside the new main entrance gate. The Syncro area is the same as last year, in the main arena, adjacent to the traders hall (main covered area) and the kiosk.
