Ben, put it in the show so that we can make more numbers.
It's only $15 and it really doesn't matter if its clean.
Be early.

Ben,
Bring them in.
This is not just for show cars but to show as many Syncros as
we can muster!
Please join in - it will make an excellent
display.
With the rain around I would say quite a few will leave their
prized possessions @ home and there should be some good space there for
us.
Catch you tomorrow.
Cheers,
Scott

Who is planning on going this year?

Ben,
I'm going - the syncro may not be as it is in gearbox surgery @ Ronnie Schmidt's not sure on the ETA of that as Ronnie is busy with race buggy gearboxes ATM as there is a few big races coming up.
I will probably take the freshly restored 71 lowlight kombi.
Hopefully Mark will be there - I have a package from the USA for him.
Cheers,
Skot

Syncroers,
Dont forget we have our Blue Mountains long weekend coming up when the Queen turns another year older (officially) - wish I had 2 birthdays.
We can discuss this in more detail at the Nationals too.
Cheers,
Skot

Gents, just thought I'd drop the group a line as I have some appropriate news.
Subarugears is once again exhibiting at the VW Nationals on Sunday May 26.
Of interest to Syncro owners will be the display of 4.86 ratio ring and pinion gears (to match the VW Syncro front differential) and our prototype Syncro AWD solution for the Subaru transaxle.
This moves the AWD output of the transaxle to the lower part of the casing, also spinning the tailshaft in the same direction as the VW syncro originally does. This moves us closer to being able to provide a bolt-in Subaru AWD transaxle solution to replace any unrepairable Syncro transaxles. I say AWD as opposed to 4WD/Lockers as some Syncro owners have keenly pointed out.
I look forward to a chinwag with interested members.

Hi Todd, I thought the 4.86 ratio was only for the American market. Didn't we get 5.43 or something? Greg E
