Hi All,

A friend of mine has a very keen interest (so he tells me) in purchasing
a syncro for him and his small family (just 1 child at this stage). He
wants a camper if he can.

I said I would put the word out for him.

Ken, you are the God of all things Syncro for sale (and highly polished
paintwork) - anything coming up?

Thanks,

Skot
Scott,
Well blow me down ... how timely! Now here's the chance to compare notes on an ongoing basis with your friend, should he buy it .... yet another bastardised syncro (you'll work that one out when you read it) and as well, this ones replete with a bull-bar both Francesca and Peter Coe would cut off their right arms for! I kid you not!  haha

Thanks Ken.

I will pass this link on.

It appears to be a Sunliner converted Ex-telstra syncro as shown by those delightfull tailgate handles and the internal A/C door arm rest set up. The windows look standard VW though. May have been a window van that Telstra bought in this case?

Nice Bull bar too!! Looks like it would even stop a Mother-in Law!

Cheers,

Skot

Hi Skot,

Micheal Rayner also had his on the market a couple of weeks ago. Not sure what the status is, but I know he's been away from home recently, so maybe hasn't seen your email.

I will transfer any details from Michael as soon as they come up.

Hopefully Michael can point me to a site with photos of his beast.

I like Rick's. It would suit my mate Josh - it is a Trakka camper and it is the right colour.

Thanks for the heads up.

Rick - is that correct - are you selling your favourite toy?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Hi Skot,
Sorry for not answering I have been quite preoccupied somewhat with having so many x-rays and scans I am starting to glow in the dark. I am assessing my situation and yes at this point I am looking at putting it on the market if the right price came along but I am not too active in the sale as I am really struggling with that thought.
If your you or your friend would like to contact me we can have a chat about it. If he is looking for a bargain cheap one then this would not be for him as I have spent a fair bit on it such as gearbox and de-coupler. I know you would guide him well as you know my Syncro well enough.
Cheers
Rick.

Gday Rick.
I hope you are recovering well.
The other night I was coming home from work, a Syncro pulled up beside me,with its driver, with a smile from ear to ear.
It was the younger fellow you introduced to me at the Nationals.
Was this your son or a family member?
Anyway,a quick conversation from my drivers side window reveiled that he had now purchased a Syncro and he and his lady friend were on their way to the snow,to test it out.
I forget his name,I am sorry for that.

Rick,

May I say on behalf of the members of this syncro community who know you personally, we're struggling with the incredible thought of you selling your "other arm", your much loved Trakka.

Please please, take all the time in the world concerning a final decision to sell it. In fact ...... DON'T!

Let's all believe your own health and personal circumstances will improve such in the relatively not too distant future that you will ultimately choose instead to keep it and so then continue to participate and make further valuable contributions in this syncro centric community as you so ably have done in the past.

We wish you well in your recovery.

Hi Rick,

Sorry not to have spoken up before, but I'd like to wish you luck for your recovery. You must have been through a very trying time. I only got to spy your bush-bashing Syncro at Batemans Bay, but from what others have said about your Trakka I can see you have a difficult decision on your hands. May it go to a good home if sell you must.

Regards,

Francesca.

Rick,

I will leave this as is for a while until you know more about your situation.

The matching blue trakka I saw in Sawtell freaked me out as I thought you had already sold yours.

At least that isn't the case.

Get better real soon.

Cheers,

Skot

Thank you all so much for your well wishes and I really am moved from all the Syncronaught's kind words.
For those who don't know I do have another really special Syncro on blocks in my Garage just waiting to leap out at the right time so I am not giving them away completely as it is in the blood. If you are interested in some great shots of 2007 Bateman's bay take a look at www.syncro.com.au the gallery section and you will see my metallic brown baby and one shot the rear wheel is airborne and my head is out the window (great trip that was).
What I am planning to do is sell my blue Trakka Syncro and find a T3 2wd Trakka camper auto (if they exists, any leads anyone) as I can manage an auto at this time?
Ben- That was my nephew and he loves his Syncro it really suits his life style this was owned by Peter K , from the south coast most of the team know that machine.
Skot- If you let your mate know if he is interested as I am interested in selling (if the price is right).

Well once again thanks to all.

Cheers
Rick

Rick,

Send me an email to spbconsulting@bigpond.com and any really good photos of the syncro you have and let me know how much you want for it.

I will pass that on.

My friend Josh doesn't seem like he is in a huge hurry but that's probably because what I have showed him to date is not ideal.

Cheers,

Here's an auto diesel! Brian will love you ... haha

Here's an auto ...    erm,   Brian?  ....

For the rest of you lot .....

Just throw this syncro in, just to look at ...... has a Trakka hardtop .... these are rarely seen ...

Here's a Trakka syncro, Scotts fav colour ...

Another syncro Trakka .... the bestest colour!

Enjoy.
