Video 3 Rover Trail

Hi Scott,

Given that the ladders are mounted top and bottom of the rear door,
why aren't the ladder brackets universal ?

But if I have to choose: Right Hand that is the drivers side on an Australian Syncro.

Peter

No worries Greg.

I will change the order for Ian and put you down for a ladder and jerry can holder.

I must ask Peter whether he wants a central ladder or a left or right mount ladder.

Cheers,

Skot

Scott, I will take the ladder and the jerry can holder. You have got me down for a fuel fitting kit I don't need though. My final order should read as follows:

1 tank LHS 48l offset custom fittings, 1 ladder central mounting, one jerry holder.

Thanks again for your efforts and let me know when you want the cash. Greg

 Hi again Folks,

Ian wants me to tidy this thing up urgently so he is the latest and
possibly final list of punters that want tanks/ ladders etc.

This is the latest list of tanks that I have.

Latest revised list of tanks etc:
1) Steve Clark - 2 tanks plus fitting kits - 1 fuel & 1 water (RHS
offset for VIN - 48L)
2) Peter Kolevas - 1 tank plus fuel fitting kit (RHS offset for VIN - 48L)
3) Roger Bayley - 2 tanks plus fitting kits - 1 fuel & 1 water (RHS
offset for VIN - 48L) - 1 rear tailgate ladder
4) Paul Nevin - 2 tanks plus fitting kits - 1 fuel & 1 water (RHS offset
for VIN - 48L)
5) Colin Bennett - 2 tanks plus fitting kits - 1 fuel & 1 water (RHS
offset for VIN - 48L)
6) Greg Esposito - 1 tank plus fuel fitting kit (LHS custom - 48L)
7) Scott Pitcher - 1 tank plus fuel fitting kit (RHS offset for VIN - 48L)

Thats 11 confirmed tanks.

Just to confirm the costs of the tanks:

- 48L inlet offset tanks - $435.00
- Fuel fitting kit - $190.00
- Water fitting kit - $170.00
- Shipping - $60

Just to confirm the costs of the ladders:
- Ladders - $200.00
- Jerry Can Holders - $75.00 each
- Bike Rack holders - $25.00 per set
- Shipping - $40.00

I want a ladder with a jerry-can carrier and so does Peter S - so that's
at least 2 but I will need any other takers for the ladder etc this week
- now I have all the photos and pricing.

Let me know if you want ladders etc. (More photos attached of the
ladders etc).

Thanks,

Scott

Peter,

Here is a link to "roof-top" bike carriers which can mount onto the rack itself or the adjustable bike rack bars:

http://roofrackworld-px.rtrk.com.au/shop/bike-racks-2/roofmounted-bicycle-carriers.html

Attached is a photo of the Gary Lee version which has a similar set-up;

Regarding the mounting of the ladders, the curve of the top of the tailgate door means they need to be mounted on either side. You can mount the accessories wherever you like - that's one of the features of this system - you clamp them on where you see fit.

Cheers,

Skot

Hi Steve,
I am a new taker for a ladder if it's not too late? I definitely would love one RHS ladder. I may want another but will need another day to work that out so would be able to confirm a second on Thursday. If it's all too late then I apologise and that's fine of course.
I really appreciate your work on this.
Kindest regards
Nick

Folks,

Latest revised list with prices:

1) Steve Clark - 2 tanks plus fitting kits - 1 fuel & 1 water (RHS
offset for VIN - 48L) = $435 x 2 + $190 + $170 + $60 + $60 = $1,350.00
2) Peter Kolevas - 1 tank plus fuel fitting kit (RHS offset for VIN -
48L) = $435 + $190 + $60 = $685.00
3) Roger Bayley - 2 tanks plus fitting kits - 1 fuel & 1 water (RHS
offset for VIN - 48L) = $435 x 2 + $190 + $170 + $60 + $60 = $1,350.00
4) Paul Nevin - 2 tanks plus fitting kits - 1 fuel & 1 water (RHS offset
for VIN - 48L) = $435 x 2 + $190 + $170 + $60 + $60 = $1,350.00
5) Colin Bennett - 2 tanks plus fitting kits - 1 fuel & 1 water (RHS
offset for VIN - 48L) = $435 x 2 + $190 + $170 + $60 + $60 = $1,350.00
6) Greg Esposito - 1 tank with custom fittings (LHS custom - 48L) = $435
+ $190 + $60 = $685.00
7) Richard Beckers (almost a member) - 1 tank with custom fittings plus
fuel fitting kit (i.e. 2 extra straps) (RHS custom - 58L) = $500 + $190
+ $60 = $750.00
8) Scott Pitcher - 1 tank plus fuel fitting kit (RHS offset for VIN -
48L) = $435 + $190 + $60 = $685.00

Thats 12 confirmed tanks.

Latest list of Ladders etc:
1) Greg Esposito - 1 central mount ladder with 1 jerry can holder = $200
+ $75 + $40 = $315.00
2) Peter Schweinsberg - 1 central mount ladder with 2 jerry can holders
= $200 + $75 + $75 + $40 = $390.00
3) Roger Bayley - 1 Right hand side mount ladder = $200 + $40 = $240.00
4) Scott Pitcher - 1 Right hand side mount ladder with 1 jerry can
holder = $200 + $75 + $40 = $315.00

Thats 4 ladders and 4 jerry can holders.

Thats the figures I think we are looking at but I will check with Ian to
make sure.

This email should go through soon hopefully - my email is currently
stuffed with Telstra saying they will fix it by this Wednesday.

Cheers,

Skot
Hi again tank & ladder lovers,

Just another quick update from Ian.

"Everything is going smoothly over here. First payments cleared into my account Monday 13 October and I ordered laser cuts and materials. Welding began the following Monday 20/10. Just over a week later and all the tanks have now been finished except for the two custom tanks for Greg Esposito and Richard Beckers.

Ladders and jerry can holders are also almost done.

Remember ladders will only fit properly in the position for which they have been made."

Sounds like we will get them in the next few weeks all going well.

They should make a fantastic Christmas present for your other half!

My wife got 4L of motor oil last year - so this will seem heaps better!

Cheers,

Skot
