We talk about the apple peeler later ---- when I do need some thing from the US and they won't send I would ask Florian Speier to receive it and send it on. Just a though to try and beat them.........Hartis

Skot,
if the distributor module you are referring to is the Hall sensor, they are reasonably common. I had mine die in the Kimberly back in 1999. I just got a Ford hall sensor, joined the wires and screwed or pop riveted (can’t exactly remember) the module back onto the distributor base plate. The modules are listed in the Jaycar online cattledog CAT. NO. ZD1900. The Hall automotive sensors were all the same shape as far as I remember except for the double back to back models which you don’t want.
If you need more help on this call me tomorrow in daylight on 0425 316 464 and I’ll go out to the van and have a look at the modification I did and talk you through the colours etc.
Good luck,
Tom

A distributor module shat itself. We were cruising along @ 100km/hr along Crescent Head Rd and the engine just shut down in a split second.
Problem is it was New Years Eve and nothing opens back up until tomorrow.
Thankfully NRMA premium came to the rescue with a tow all the way home and another free tow down to the mechanic tomorrow when they open.
This is the worst time of year to have anything fail - nothing is open to get parts from.
Should be sorted very soon hopefully.
Cheers,
Skot
